Decorah United Soccer Club

Spring soccer: Cancelled

The Iowa Soccer Association has announced a new Return to Play date of July 6.

Since the new Iowa Soccer Return to Play date is very close to fall, we are giving families the choice of applying their spring fees to the fall. Because spring fees are slightly higher, we plan to extend the fall season.

Families who registered for spring have two options:

1) Consider donating your fees (or part of them) as a donation to the club. DUSC is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that depends on registration fees to cover expenses and continue providing soccer training and games for our youth. Your contribution matters and is greatly appreciated!

2) Request a refund (minus transaction fees). Contact teojube@decorahunitedsoccer.com.

Thank you!

Decorah United Soccer Club (DUSC) is an organization committed to promoting youth soccer in northeast Iowa. DUSC is organized and directed by a Director of Coaching and board of dedicated volunteers. We are a soccer club offering youth an opportunity to learn, train and play the sport of soccer. We are members of the Northeast Iowa Soccer League and the Wisconsin Tri-Rivers Soccer League.

We offer year-round soccer opportunities, including fall and spring league soccer, summer training, and winter futsal.

Spring: We offer two spring soccer options. Our eight-week spring season in the Northeast Iowa Soccer League and the Wisconsin Tri-Rivers Soccer League includes 5–10 games, a tournament, and practices two nights/week. All practices are held in Decorah and games are played in Decorah as well as communities in northeast Iowa, southeast Minnesota, and southwest Wisconsin.

We also offer a select (competitive) team option in the spring, available by tryout. The select teams train three nights/week in Decorah, and play in the Iowa Soccer League with games in Decorah, Dubuque, Waverly, Bettendorf, Marion, Waterloo, Cedar Falls and Cedar Rapids.

Summer: Our summer program includes training twice per week and additional opportunities that vary each year.

Fall: Our six-week fall season in the Northeast Iowa Soccer League includes six games, an optional tournament, and practice two nights/week. All practices are held in Decorah and games are played in Decorah as well as West Union, Waverly, New Hampton, Denver, Sumner, Mason City, Clear Lake and other communities.

Winter: In partnership with Luther College soccer teams, DUSC offers indoor futsal (a game similar to soccer) on Saturday nights, including training and game play in an internal DUSC league.

We invite players of all abilities to participate. All players, parents, and coaches are required to sign a Code of Conduct and are expected to conduct themselves in a positive manner at all times, both on and off the field.
